- When you browse the site (only if you accept cookies): standard analytics data such as pages viewed, device type, and how you arrived — including a Google Ads click identifier (gclid) if you came from one of our ads.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, and quote your work.
- To manage you as a customer in our CRM (GoHighLevel) if you go ahead.
- To measure how our website and advertising perform, so we can improve them.
Our lawful bases are your consent (analytics/advertising cookies) and our legitimate interest / steps to enter a contract (responding to and quoting your enquiry).
Who we share it with
We only share data with the services that run our business, never for sale:
- GoHighLevel — our CRM, which stores enquiry and customer details.
- Google — Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads, used only if you accept cookies, to measure performance.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website.
Cookies
The site works without cookies. Analytics and advertising cookies only load if you click Accept on the cookie banner — you can decline and the site is unaffected. We use Google Consent Mode, so nothing tracking-related runs until you opt in.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and customer records are kept for as long as we're doing business together and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and legal obligations. Analytics data is retained per Google's standard settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop using it — just call 01606 537305 or email middlewichroofing@gmail.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
